Dave was named senior vice president, Research & Development in July 2013. He is responsible for the Company’s global innovation, research and development activities. In addition, he leads the Regulatory and the Quality functions including Environment, Health and Safety.
Prior to that, Dave was vice president, Global Supply since December 2007.
Dave joined ScottsMiracle-Gro in 1993. He has held numerous leadership positions in engineering, plant management, production planning and supply chain leadership, including vice president of global planning and logistics.
Dave earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Dave enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and four grandchildren (two sets of twins), and they often vacation in the Great Smoky Mountain area or the gulf coast of Florida.
