How To Use
Getting started is simple:
- Start with Your Seeds: Place one of your own seeds (or a few, if they're small) into a grow sponge.
- Label Your Plants: Pop the sponge into a basket and add a label.
- Let Your Garden Grow: Place the pod in your AeroGarden, add water, the recommended amount of Liquid Plant Food, and watch your custom garden come to life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I plant any seed in this kit?
Almost. Most seeds for herbs, flowers, and compact veggies will do great. We recommend avoiding root vegetables (like carrots) and large plants that vine, like squash or melons, as they won't have enough space to thrive.
Do I need to buy plant food for this kit?
Nope! This Seed Pod Kit comes with plant food, so you can keep your harvest well-nourished throughout the growing season.
How many of my own seeds should I put in each pod?
For larger seeds, like peas or beans, one seed per pod is perfect. For smaller seeds, like most herbs and flowers, we suggest placing 2-3 seeds in each pod to ensure you get a healthy sprout.
What if my seeds don't sprout?
Since you are using your own seeds, our germination guarantee does not apply to this kit. However, our grow sponges are designed to create the ideal conditions for sprouting. Using fresh seeds will give you the best chance for success.

Just got a new Harvester set up with these grow pods and no germination with lettuce seeds. My old Harvester I have had for several years lettuce germinates 3-6 days

I purchased this over a month ago as a gift. We needed to return it due to no issue with the product, only due to the person it was for not wanting it.
Customer service is non-existent. You will get a chat bot. I sent the products back to the place and location and have not received anything back. It’s been two weeks or more.

Anticipation for Fresh Veggies

You ask, how does my garden grow?
With an aerogarden, fertilizer, seeds, and a light aglow.
Daily I watch and wait as they begin to sprout,
I can’t wait for them to mature, and my salad gives a shout!
I’ve been using an AeroGarden for approximately 3 to 4 years and they’ve always been a blessing to have in my home! I was with that one for a few months and I felt I just had to get another.
I know they don’t grow overnight, but they sure are handy to have when the plants do mature. I accidentally got the bottom wet probably a few too many times which caused the main board to short out so that’s just a caution. I now have the one where the main board is above the plants that way it won’t get wet. That was not AeroGarden‘s fault that was mine for not being very cautious when cleaning. I really appreciate the AeroGarden.
