Description

Get rid of listed weeds in your lawn! Ortho® WeedClear™ Lawn Weed Killer Ready-to-Spray kills all listed weeds without harming your lawn (when used as directed). It kills over 200 major broadleaf weeds and grass weeds down to the root, including dandelion, chickweed, clover, crabgrass, creeping charlie, and foxtail. The formula is rainproof in 1 hour and is fast-acting - you'll get results in just one application. Use this weed killer on lawn grasses, including Bermudagrass, Buffalograss, Fescues, Kentucky Bluegrass, Ryegrass and Zoysiagrass. To apply, attach your garden hose to the sprayer and turn the water on. Slide the switch to "ON" and spray evenly only until the surface of the lawn is wet. For best results, apply to young, actively growing weeds when daytime temperatures are between 45°F and 90°F*. Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried. One 32 oz. container of Ortho® WeedClear™ Lawn Weed Killer Ready-to-Spray treats up to 5,000 sq. ft. of lawn. *Do not apply to Bermudagrass when temperatures are above 85°F

How to Use

  • OrthoÂŽ WeedClear™ Lawn Weed Killer Ready-To-Spray is easy to use. Simply connect the sprayer to the garden hose and then turn on the water. Walk to the farthest part in your yard and then work your way back.
  • To spray, slide switch to “ON”.
  • Then spray evenly only until the surface of the lawn is wet.
  • To stop spraying, slide the switch to “OFF”.
  • Turn off the water, then relieve water pressure by sliding switch to “WATER”. After the water slows to a drip, slide switch back to "OFF" and disconnect from the garden hose.

  • When to Apply

How Often to Apply

  • Based on the effectiveness of this herbicide, applications are limited to 2 times per year with at least 21 days between treatments for dense weed populations.

Watering Tips

  • If your lawn is looking a little thirsty, water 24 hours prior to application.
  • To avoid potential runoff, do not water within 24 hours of treatment.
