Works as expected
I've read lots about people saying that their mulch faded, we get a full year in Florida sun with this mulch. As for comments stating that the bags should be marked about rain or watering within the first 24/48 hours after application, it is! The only thing not listed is pet safety, wish it was, had to look it up.

Question
I have always used Scott’s
Products for the quality, recently I decided to plant a small plot with peaches and plums , get home with Scott’s natural scapes dark brown mulch and now some people are telling me
It will kill my fruit trees or anything I put it around because it has some kind of chemical
Not safe for any of my landscape is this true ?
Always just used the regular mulch and wanted
To give it some
Color.

Great Mulch!
Can't understand all the bad reviews. This is my favorite mulch. The color lasts longer on this brand than other brands I have used. They look gray and Scotts is black. The size is perfect and I didn't notice any debris. I always watch for it to go on sale. I think it is great mulch.

Great product
Purchased it at Lowe’s and am perfectly happy with it. Just wish it was fire retardant. I live in the mountains and try to keep my property fire safe. I know that fire departments do not recommend use of this product but it looks great and keeps the weeds and dust down. Wonder if there is anything that I can do to make it fire retardant

The best Red Mulch ever...
Over the years I bought many local brands of mulch...onlu to have to redress or scoop it up and discard it the next Spring. last year I bought Scotts Nature Scapes Enhanced Red Mulch Starting my Spring cleanup of my yard, I found that a little easy raking over of the Scotts mulch, that it looked brand new as if it just came out of bag! It held up fantastically...and I will buy more this Spring to address other areas of my yard. Thank you Scotts...your products are AMAZING!

Excellent quality, highly recommended
We are very pleased with this mulch. Excellent coloring, not too red. Dries to a nice reddish brown. No trash or debris in the mulch, and not much color transfer to clothing. Bags are a good size to easily transport. Far superior to the bulk mulch we bought last year. No paint smell prevalent in other colored mulches.

First use was great!
I've had a large landscaped area next to my home for the last 5 years. This is my first year using the red mulch from Scott's. What a great move forward from the other mulches I've been using in past years. The size of the material seem to be somewhat fine and it covered last years mulch very easily. In fact I ended up using much less of the Scott's mulch than I ever having used in previous years. For the start of the season the color is uniform and after a rain last night I have no bleeding out of thr color. We will have to see what it looks like ','following summer
