Where Not to Use: Skip the deeply shaded spots. If an area of your yard has heavy, dense shade where sunlight is minimal, this seed won't be your best bet.

How To Use
- PREP: For a new lawn, remove any debris and loosen the top two inches of soil with a rake. For overseeding, mow your lawn at the lowest setting, then rake to remove debris and dead grass, and loosen the soil.
- APPLY: Use a Scotts Spreader to apply at the recommended spreader setting listed below. Lightly rake the seed into the soil.
- WATER: Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.
