The Scotts Wizz Spreader is perfect for small lawns.
How To Use
- PREPARE: First, check the back of your bag of Scotts product for the correct spreader setting.
- FILL: Head to the driveway to fill up the hopper—it helps keep any spills off the lawn.
- SET: Turn the dial to the correct setting you just found on the bag.
- GO: Now for the fun part! Start walking at a steady pace and squeeze the trigger to apply. Make each pass about 5 ft. from the last one for that nice, even coverage.
PRO TIP FOR EDGES: To keep product where it belongs, just flip the EdgeGuard lever. It blocks the right side of the spread pattern to protect your driveway and sidewalks.

Absolutely great but has rust issues with the battery cover screw. I can see why it's called Wizz, for me that means it's a whiz to use..This really beats rolling a fertilizer spreader around the yard. You do have to make sure your fertilizer doesn't contain lumps and you store this in a very dry place, indoors I think to prevent it from rusting..If this one gives out I'll definitely get another one. The only big negative is it's a bit pricey.

Works for me.
I've had this for two years, used it four times and it worked fine each time on the original batteries. I did buy some fertilizer recently which was a little chunky so the spreader gave me some problems which is probably due to weak batteries. I'm looking for the manual to figure out how to clean it though.

Works for me!
Had it for 2 yrs now. Spread grass seed, fertilizer, milorganite and it still works fine. I clean it after every use. Haven't had an issue with it other than when I bought cheap batteries. No issues with quality batteries.
