Where to Use: Place traps against walls where mice travel. Mice tend to run along edges and baseboards rather than open floor space.

Where Not to Use: Wooden traps can warp or swell in areas with high moisture, which may affect the trigger mechanism—best suited for dry, indoor placement.

When to Apply: As soon as you see signs of a mouse, it’s time to set traps. Don’t wait for your rodent problem to get bigger.

How Often to Apply: Check traps daily and dispose of any catch promptly to avoid odor and keep traps ready for reuse.

1. BAIT: Bait the trigger with Tomcat Attractant Gel (sold separately) or peanut butter.
2. SET: Pull the U-shaped bar to the opposite end and insert the tip of the pin into the hole opposite the trigger setting.
3. ADJUST: Move the pin inward, towards the “S”, for a more sensitive trigger, or outward for a less sensitive one.
4. PLACE: Place the trap perpendicular against walls where mice travel.

• Adjust the trigger sensitivity to match the activity you're seeing. A more sensitive setting can help with cautious mice, while a firmer setting reduces false triggers in high-traffic areas.
• Use a small, pea-sized amount of bait; too much can let a mouse feed without triggering the trap.
