Investing in young people is an investment in the future for all. Through financial support and partnerships, we empower young people with hands-on learning and mentorship, from the garden to the classroom. Programs focused on health, gardening and education inspire confidence, curiosity and grit.

National Head Start Association Gardens

Kids who grow more fresh food eat more fresh food. The National Head Start Association gives kids the resources they need to build community gardens and connect with their food through the GroMoreGood Garden Grants.

These gardens and learning tools, like the seasonal garden story time webinars, cultivate curiosity and teach practical skills that give children and families the benefits of healthy food and access to nature.

The Legacy Project

The Legacy Project, in partnership with The Hagedorn Legacy Foundation, empowers students to become leaders and innovators.

Through a four-year, multi-disciplined curriculum, high school students in central Ohio receive individualized coaching and hands-on career opportunities. The program challenges them to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, develop financial literacy skills and create a roadmap for future success.

Graduation rates among the student participants is high, as most move on to post-secondary education and even earn honors such as valedictorian and salutatorian.

Doodles and Digits

Doodles and Digits makes math fun for upper elementary students through fun and accessible educational videos.

The show "How It's Math" links fractions, geometry and decimals to real-world scenarios to help young learners understand the fascinating connections between math and the natural world.

Educators can use Doodles and Digits’ videos and coloring sheets to build fun math projects that are standards-aligned and research-based for their students.
