Where to Use:

• Indoors: Kitchens, bathrooms, basements and around doors and windows, in areas where insects are a recurring problem. For fleas and ticks, spot treat pet resting quarters and localized areas of floors and floor coverings (rugs, carpet, tile, vinyl and wood) where pests may be present.
• Outdoors: Apply a 12-inch-wide band along the exterior perimeter of your home. Outdoor sprays are limited to spot or crack-and-crevice treatments, except for these permitted uses: pervious surfaces such as soil, lawn, turf and other vegetation; perimeter bands 7 feet wide or less from the base of a structure to pervious surfaces such as soil, mulch or lawn; the underside of eaves, soffits, doors or windows permanently protected from rain by a covering, overhang, awning or other structure; bands no wider than 1 inch around potential pest entry points such as doorways and windows; vertical surfaces directly above impervious surfaces such as driveways and sidewalks, up to 2 feet above ground level; and vertical surfaces directly above pervious surfaces only if the pervious surface doesn't drain into ditches, storm drains, gutters or surface waters.

Where Not to Use:

• Do not spray animals.
• Do not apply in or on electrical equipment due to the possibility of shock hazard.
• Do not allow this product to contact water supplies. Do not spray into air.
• Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming plants if bees are foraging in the treatment area.
• Spot treatments must not exceed 2 square feet (for example, 2 ft. by 1 ft. or 4 ft. by 0.5 ft.).
• Do not apply directly to impervious horizontal surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways and patios except as a spot or crack-and-crevice treatment.
• Do not spray into fish pools, ponds, streams or lakes. Do not apply directly to sewers or storm drains, or to any area like a drain or gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies or aquatic habitat can occur.
• For soil or foliar applications, do not apply by ground within 25 feet of lakes, reservoirs, rivers, permanent streams, marshes or natural ponds, estuaries and commercial fish farm ponds.
• Do not apply to carpets and hard surfaces as a pin stream or coarse spray treatment.

When to Use:

• Use anytime as a preventative treatment or after you see evidence of insect activity.
• Outdoors, apply in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours.
• Do not make applications during rain. Avoid applying when rain is expected before the product has time to dry (minimum 4 hours).

How Often to Use:

• Indoors: leave the spray undisturbed for long-lasting residual control; it keeps killing for up to 12 months indoors (for ants, roaches and spiders on non-porous surfaces). Repeat as needed.
• Outdoors: re-treatment is recommended at least once per season (3 months)

Indoors:

1. Prep the room: Cover or remove exposed food, including pet food, and cover all food-processing surfaces and utensils.
2. Ready the sprayer: Set the spray nozzle to the indoor setting.
3. Spray a band: Hold the sprayer 12 inches from the surface and apply a 4-inch-wide band along the interior of your home where insects are a recurring problem.
4. Don't soak: Spray until the surface is slightly wet, without soaking.
5. Let it dry: People and pets may reenter the treated area after the spray has dried. Thoroughly wash all food-processing surfaces and utensils with soap and water before reuse.
6. Leave it be: For long-lasting residual control, leave the spray undisturbed.

Outdoors:

1. Check weather: Apply in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours, and never during rain.
2. Protect water: Don't let the spray contact water supplies or run into drains, and don't spray into the air.
3. Ready the sprayer: Set the spray nozzle to the outdoor setting for perimeter bands.
4. Spray a band: Hold the sprayer 12 inches from the surface and apply a 12-inch-wide band along the exterior perimeter of your home until slightly wet, without soaking.
5. Re-treat: Re-treatment is recommended at least once per season (3 months) outdoors.

To Treat for Fleas and Ticks (including ticks that may transmit Lyme disease):

1. Skip the pet: Do not spray animals with this product.
2. Spot treat: Spot treat infested areas such as your pet's resting quarters and localized areas of floors and floor coverings (rugs, carpet, tile, vinyl and wood) where pests may be present.
3. Swap bedding: Remove old pet bedding and replace it with clean, fresh bedding after treating the pet area.
4. Treat the source: Pets living in the treated home should be treated with a veterinarian-approved product registered for application to animals.
