Using your seed pods is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Set Up for Success: Insert the pre-seeded pods into your AeroGarden.
- Add Water and Nutrients: Add water and plant food to the reservoir.
- Watch Your Tomatoes Grow: Plug your unit in to start growing. Your AeroGarden will provide the perfect amount of light and remind you when to add more water.

- These tomato plants will benefit from a little pollination help from you. When the yellow flowers appear, just gently shake the plant or use a small brush to spread the pollen between flowers.
- To keep your tomato plant thriving, it’s best to prune it. Gently trim the lower, inner branches to promote good airflow and help the plant focus its energy on producing fruit.
- These plants grow up to 12 inches tall, so make sure to raise your garden's light as they grow to give them space.

Do I really need to help pollinate these tomato plants?
Yes, but it's super easy. Tomatoes are self-pollinating, but indoors they just need a little help. Once you see yellow flowers, gently shake the plant's main stem or branches a few times a week. This helps spread the pollen so your plant can produce lots of fruit.
How long until I can harvest my golden tomatoes?
You'll start to see ripe, golden tomatoes in about 10-12 weeks. After your first harvest, your plant will continue to produce more fruit for you to enjoy.
Do I need to buy plant food for this kit?
Nope! This Seed Pod Kit comes with plant food, so you can keep your harvest well-nourished throughout the growing season.
What if one of my seed pods doesn't sprout?

Golden DELIGHT! Tomatoes everywhere!
Transplanted very well established seedling into square-foot-raised-garden, within a 2 square-foot-block. This plant has exceeded all expectations, expanding into a total of a 4-square-foot-block, needing supports and trellising! Well over 175 tomatoes from ONE plant and only the end of July (zone 5a). Yellow tomatoes have always been my favorite and these are quite fabulous. YES, highly recommend and WILL but again.
