How To Use
Using your seed pods is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Set Up for Success: Insert the pre-seeded pods into your AeroGarden.
- Add Water and Nutrients: Add water and plant food to the reservoir.
- Watch Your Basil Grow: Plug your unit in to start growing. Your AeroGarden will provide the perfect amount of light and remind you when to add more water.
For best results, follow the simple instructions in the included Growing Guide.
Product Tips
To encourage your basil to grow fuller and bushier, start pruning early and often. Once your plants have a few sets of leaves, trim the central stem right above a leaf node. This will encourage the plant to branch out, giving you an even bigger harvest.
Product Safety
- While basil is delicious for us, it's best to keep your garden in a spot that's out of reach for any curious pets.
- The seed pods are for gardening purposes only. Do not eat the ungerminated seeds.
- Be careful around the electrical components of your AeroGarden and keep water contained to the grow basin.
Choose from over 40 herb seed pod kits including multiple varieties of basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary and more and grow in 3 easy steps: feed; harvest shade by adjusting the grow light; trim or chop the harvest 5 weeks after planting.

Easy first grow.
I planted these in the past, and they are one of the more reliable herbs out there. Great for beginners, just keep them pruned or they will ge outof control.

Exactly what I wanted
I’m happy to have been able to get only basil, and only three pods. The basil typically grows so well that I don’t have space for 6. Looking forward to seeing my new pods sprout. This is my 6th planting with my Aeropod.

Can't beat fresh basil!
Purchased a refill of the 3-pod cuz I love fresh basil. Order was received timely. Disappointed that only one germinated but that's the way things are sometimes.
