How To Use
Here’s how to get your plant settled in its new home:
- Pick a Pot: Select a pot with a drain hole.
- Add Soil: Fill the pot about 1/3 full with Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix for Tropicals.
- Place Plant: Gently loosen the root ball and place your plant in the pot.
- Top Off: Add more mix to fill the pot, pressing it lightly around your plant.
- Water: Water your plant and let any excess water drain out.
Watering Tips
Tropical plants love a good drink, but don't like to sit in water! This mix is well-draining, but always check the soil before watering. Let the top 1-2 inches become dry to the touch, then water thoroughly and let all the excess water drain from the pot.

I always trust Miracle Gro for all of my plants. I love that this has lava rock to help the plants drain. I did repot my plants outside but of course there was no dust. I am a messy gardener and repot all of my plants outside. I always know with Miracle Gro my plants will do well. Also repotting with this soul I know my plants will be well fed, drained and not end up with root shock.

Miracle Gro indoor potting mix for tropicals worked really well for my tropical plants. Great potting soil

Works great for Birds of Paradise! The soil keeps the plant hydrated and packed with nutrients. The packaging could be more re-use friendly (i.e. sealable), but I would use again.
