Where to Use: The all-purpose organic fertilizer is great to use in your in-ground gardens, raised beds, and with all outdoor containers.

When to Use: Apply this organic plant food to newly planted vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers right after planting or apply to established plants that need a boost of nutrients.

How Often to Use: Reapply Miracle-Gro Organic All Purpose Plant Food every 4 weeks for in-ground gardens and every 3 months for outdoor containers during the active growing season.

Formulated for: All outdoor containers, raised bed, and in-ground garden plants including popular outdoor vegetables (like tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers), fruiting plants, decorative annual and perennial flowers, and outdoor potted herbs (like basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano)

For In-Ground Gardens:

1. Shake it On: Shake 3/4 to 1 cup of granular plant food evenly over every 20 sq. ft. of soil.
2. Mix it In: Gently mix the granules into the top 1-3 inches of soil.
3. Water and Smile: Give your garden a good watering to start the feeding.
4. Repeat: Reapply every 4 weeks during the active growing season.

For Outdoor Container Plants:

1. Shake it On: Shake the plant food evenly over the soil surface. For a 6-inch container, use 1 tablespoon, and use 6 tablespoons for a 12-inch container.
2. Mix it In: Mix the granules throughout the soil in your container.
3. Water and Enjoy: Water your plants to get the feeding started.
4. Repeat: Reapply every 3 months during the active growing season.

For Outdoor Container Plants:

• 6-in (0.25-gal) container use 1 tablespoon
• 8-in (1-gal) container use 2 tablespoons
• 10-in (3-gal) container use 4 tablespoons
• 12-in (5-gal) container use 6 tablespoons
• 14-in (7-gal) container use 8 tablespoons

• A Little Goes a Long Way: Be sure to follow the application rates. A well-fed plant is a happy plant, but overfeeding can be too much of a good thing.
• Store it Right: Keep your plant food in a cool, dry place to keep it fresh for the next feeding.

After you've applied the plant food and watered it in, just continue with your regular watering routine. The best way to know if your plants are thirsty is to stick your finger an inch into the soil—if it's dry, it's time for a drink. Your outdoor plants may need daily watering in hot weather.
