DESCRIPTION
Trees, shrubs and ornamentals can make low-maintenance and long-lasting additions to your landscape. In order to provide color and structure, they will need an occasional feeding - particularly for younger trees and shrubs. That's why we created Miracle-Gro® Evergreen Plant Food Spikes. These plant food spikes promote deep, vibrant color and foliage on all evergreens and acid-loving plants. These easy-to-use spikes provide nutrition directly to the roots, where trees need it most. Apply once in early spring and once in mid-fall when the ground is soft and moist. If the ground is dry, wet it before driving the spikes. To use, place an enclosed plastic cap on top of the spike, then drive it into the ground around the tree or shrub. Spikes should be at least 3 feet apart. For small trees and shrubs with a drip line closer than 2 feet, insert spikes 2 feet away from the center of the shrub or tree trunk. Remove the plastic cap and save for future use. Continue to drive spike 2 inches below the soil surface. One pack contains 12 spikes.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
- Place enclosed plastic cap on top of spike.
- Drive spike into the ground around tree or shrub following the drip line as illustrated.
- Spikes should be at least 3 feet apart. For small trees and shrubs with drip line closer than 2 feet, insert spikes 2 feet away from center of shrub or tree trunk.
- Remove plastic cap and save for future use.
- Continue to drive spike 2 inches below the soil surface.

They are environmental safe for the earth
We used these on our trees and shrubs and we have seen just how green our trees have bloomed. They are easy to use, just stick them in the ground and water.

Make fertilizing trees and bushes effortless!
I can't believe the difference this made to my old evergreen bush. Two months ago, I added two stakes around the front sides of the bush. It has been looking unhealthy and hadn't had much new growth. I found the food spikes very easy to use. I used the plastic cap on the end and gently used a mallet to drive them into the soil. There was no measuring of chemicals, just easy to administer and to clean up. It makes plant maintenance much easier! My bush has lush tips with bright green growth and the rest of it has turned a deeper green.

Easy to use!
Not super sure if the video will show of me hammering it into the ground. But this product is easy to use. With a simple mallet, struck it a couple time, and it easily went through. It’s been some time since doing so, and seems to be giving our little tree the nutrients it needed.

Beneficial for plants before winter
Using this product, you get no more messy than planting flowers in a garden! It seems to helped with the growth of our shrub, it hasn’t hindered it at least. I plan to see if I can find any other spots around our home to use it before winter!

Product review . Good product little easy to break on hard ground . Good and easy to follow instructions . Packaging is simple and easy to read . Appearance of product is genetic and does not catch your eye. It does the job without being noticed well worth a try and no strong chemical smells like some .

Love this product. I used it next to my evergreen bush, and it is more full than ever. Easy to use and long lasting. So it’s a great value. It’s out-of-the-way and my dogs have not bothered it.
