Frequently Asked Questions
Is this product the same as Miracle-Gro Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Mix?
Yes. Our Miracle-Gro Cactus, Palm & Citus Potting Mix got a name upgrade to Indoor Potting Mix for Cactus & Succulent. We also gave it a fresher, cleaner look on the outside, without changing the goodness on the inside.
If I have product leftover, how do I store it?
We're glad you asked! To keep your leftover indoor gardening soil in great shape, simply seal the bag (a clip or tape works great!) and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
How often should I water my succulents in this soil?
Great question! Because this is a fast-draining soil, it helps prevent overwatering. A good rule of thumb is to let the the top 2 inches of soil dry out between waterings. The exact timing will depend on your plant, pot size, and home environment, but it's always better to water desert plants less often than too much!
Is this mix only for cacti and succulents?
While it's specially formulated for cacti and succulents, this fast-draining mix is also great for other indoor plants that prefer drier soil, like citrus trees.
