DESCRIPTION

While compost will provide nutrition to your vegetable plants, it's not a stable soil base by itself. It's best to use a garden soil that contains compost and other ingredients to provide nutrition and support for your vegetable plants, like Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil Vegetables & Herbs.
Can I use potting soil for herbs?
If you're growing herbs in a pot or container, absolutely! A mix like Miracle-Gro® Potting Mix is ideal for most container plants. Good soil for seed germination

I keep this product always handy. Love the rich texture and the good it does to my plants.
I love plants and buy them regularly, so I use this soil to mix it with the soil they come with (which is not great).
