It is incredibly easy to use - simply hold the bottle with shaker top pointed forward and down, and shake bottle side-to-side to dispense. Liberally apply in areas where snake activity has been noticed, such as around houses, garages, sheds, barns, woodpiles, and patios. Snakes are often searching for several things around your home such as food and areas to cool, warm, or shelter themselves. Repeat application of Ortho® Snake B Gon®1 as needed, usually every 30 days. More frequent applications may be required after periods of heavy rainfall and if more snake activity is noticed. Ortho® Snake B Gon®1 is safe to use around people, pets, and plants, when used as directed; not for use on or around plants intended for consumption. One 2 lb. bottle of product covers up to 1,440 sq. ft.
