Description
Kill bed bugs, fleas, and other listed insects where they hide with Ortho® Home Defense Max® Bed Bug & Flea Killer Powder. It kills and controls bed bugs, fleas, ants, silverfish, carpet beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, scorpions, spiders, and other listed insects for up to 8 months. This bed bug powder is the third step in the Ortho 3-step bed bug solution system. Use step 1 to detect bed bugs with Ortho® Home Defense Max® Bed Bug Trap and step 2 for room treatment with Ortho® Home Defense Max® Killer (both sold separately). Ortho® Home Defense Max® Bed Bug & Flea Killer Powder kills bed bugs, fleas, ants, silverfish, carpet beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, scorpions, spiders, and other listed bugs in areas that are hard to spray like the cracks and crevices of bed frames, along baseboards, near window frames, in closets and other places bugs travel and like to hide. It's easy to use this bed bug powder, simply apply directly from the bottle or with a hand duster.
Step by Step Instructions
How to Use
- Note: This product is intended to be applied with a hand duster or from the container.
- Before applying in the house, cover all food processing surfaces and utensils during treatment.
- Apply directly into cracks and crevices using a bulbous duster or other suitable equipment.
- Applications should be made in a light and uniform fashion.
- After treatment, wash all food processing surfaces and utensils thoroughly before using again.
When and Where to Use
Where Not to Use
- Not for use in commercial food/feed handling establishments, restaurants or other establishments where food/feed is commercially prepared, processed or served. DO NOT apply directly to food, utensils, or areas where food is stored.
- Do not use on carpets, upholstery, or other fabrics.
Where to Use
- Use in animal quarters, apartments, household greenhouses, houses, mobile homes, and recreational vehicles.
- Apply dust in cracks and crevices, behind and under cupboards, and other difficult to reach areas where insects may hide. Pay particular attention to cracks and crevices; service ducts; false floors and ceilings; wall voids; around electrical and telephone fittings and equipment, around water and sewer pipes; under and behind cabinets; refrigerators and sinks; around windows and door frames; among baseboards; and in attics and crawl spaces.

Easy and Effective
This was very easy to use and also was very clean to use, I like how I was able to get into many of the cracks and crevices of my house and garage without a mess. I was also able to get behind appliances without having to move them .

It does more than just bed bugs
Are used it to get rid of some roaches. I have those big ones. And it took care of them easily but when you use it make sure you read the label do not use it on any type of carpeting or flooring that should not want to mess up. I put a little in the kitchen when I moped the floor some stayed on it. Used windex and it came up easily. It does the job just be careful where you use it. Oh I’ve not seen any roaches since using it

Works great.
This was the first time to use this product for me. I used it in some crevices where I saw some bugs and not long after they were gone.
Also it works in my dog's quarters. Any fleas present were soon gone.

Works great
Got this product and filled all cracks around the house inside and out, with the wet weather the fleas were migrating inside , this stopped them in their tracks. Have not seen a flea in 3 weeks. Because of the weather, I put a second application down a week ago.

Effective product
I've never had issues with bed bugs but after purchasing a rental property I discovered there were bed bugs. I didn't know what do do but researched Ortho products and the bud bug powder did the job. I checked a few day after use and they were GONE!

Best Ever Bed Bug & Flea Killer Power !!
I recently tried Ortho® Home Defense Max® Bed Bug & Flea Killer Powder because of a Bed Bug problem i was having. Having tried other methods of killing these bugs and having them come back I thought I would give Ortho® Home Defense Max® Bed Bug & Flea Killer Powder a try for Fast acting, long lasting bed bug control. After reading that it Kills bedbugs and eggs, including Pyrethroid resistant bed bugs. It also kills fleas and ticks. It is Non-staining and odorless and kills on contact and reaches into the places where bed bugs hide. I followed the directions on the container and applied the product as instructed. To my amazement the product killed my bed bug problem that i couldn't control before. Product worked just as advertised and killed the bed bugs on contact. It's been a few weeks now and I haven't seen anymore bedbugs show up anywhere in my house. I would definitely recommend Ortho® home defense max® bed bug & flea killer powder to anyone that has spent many hours on trying to kill these pests. This product really does the Job and does it well. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it deserves it.
