Description

Your yard is a place for family and pets to enjoy, not insects. Ortho® Bug B-gon™ Lawn Insect Killer works above and below the surface to kill 142 insects. The granules kill by contact and work on ants, fleas, ticks, grubs, spiders, crickets, beetles and more*. This fast-acting pest control kills by contact and starts to kill listed insects except fire ants in minutes. Protect your lawn, landscapes, flower and vegetable gardens, as well as the perimeter around your home against ants for up to 6 months**. Apply at first sight of insect activity or damage. You can also preemptively apply in the early spring to prevent infestation. Use a Scotts® spreader to apply granules, and then thoroughly water in the area after application. Allow the area to dry before people and pets re-enter. One 10 lb. bag treats up to 16,500 sq. ft. of lawn and landscape. *see back panel for full list **excludes pharoah, carpenter and harvester ants

Rated 1 out of 5 by from None of the Ortho product work on ants I used it as directed. Well water the granules and I can see the black ants just walk over it and not die. So the ants need to ingested it? Even I smash the granutes I still see them active as ever. This is the same as the ortho spray. Not even half way thru the spraying, the sprayer always crap out. And using the spray they are still around. Your product used to work 15 years ago, now it is useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed This has been down on my yard five days with little or no results. I used more than required to make sure it worked. It was water well, instructions were followed explicitly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more Grub Worms I used this on my yard in early September. It killed hundreds if not thousands of grub worms. They came to the surface after it rained and died. I used this to try to help with the control of moles and armadillos as they forage for grub worms. I highly recommend Ortho Bug B-Gon granules.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Really Works This product really works very well . I'm usually not impressed enough with a product to write a review but I have to say this has eliminated all the bugs from my turf.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fireants laugh at it Used it yesterday on my front lawn I put it on as directed, it may have killed some stuff but absolutely does not work on the fire ants in Louisiana they were completely unaffected. Will have to find something much much more toxic for the unholy scourge that is the fireants in my yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big b Gone After using this product I have absolutely “didn’t “ notice anything. Thankfully this product has been working so far and I will continue to follow the recommended usage throughout the summer. I have already purchased more to last throughout the rest of the summer and will be ready for a few more years

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kills everything! I used this for the fist time this year and it work fantastically!!! I can see the dead Beatles on the ground. I am wondering though how safe this is for dogs that tend to eat grass when their bellies are upset. I did wait two weeks before I let my dog into the treated area. Is the grass safe to eat after treatment?
