My lawn is the thickest,greenest and non-weed or crabgrass lawn in the entire neighborhood.

Amazing product
We bought this after aerating, with over seeding a problematic area in our back yard.
Our yard is now full and lush. We had to increase the lawn mower height by 1 1/2 inches. The color is phenomenal!
We’ve been using the 4 step program for over 10 years and our front lawn was loved by all. We always recommended the 4 part program.
However, when Scots came out with the number 1 for “seeding” we were skeptical, but it works well.
We highly recommend this fertilizer.

This is to balance all of the negative reviews I found here. After reading all of the problem reviews I was reluctant to try step three but I did. It worked just fine. No burning or problems. Guess what, I actually followed the directions. It says to water right away so I waited a few weeks until rain was near. One day I saw rain showers about an hour away so I put it down. I do horizontal passes then go back over with vertical passes so I use a bit more than directed. Three weeks later the lawn has a deeper green, not like the bright green of step one in the spring. I don't know what the other people did to have such bad problems but I had none of them. Maybe they didn't put it down before a rain shower or water it in. I don't know. Just don't take these few bad reviews as a consistent problem as it worked fine for me.

Beautiful lawn
I used the step 3 but by mistake I put the dial to my Scott rotary spreader on 2.5 instead of 3.5 . My lawn turned a beautiful green but I wanted it darker . It was then I noticed I had not used the correct setting I redid the lawn and it is a strikingly dark blue green color. Beautiful. I had cancelled lawn company called weed
Man because they came out 3 times and never took care of the weeds and my lawn remained yellow . That’s when I decided to use the Scott’s step 3 program . I will never go with weed man again . For the cost of weed man I could easily buy more than what I need of Scott’s products .

The way to your best lawn.
Scotts 4-Step has brought our yard nothing but Success and Savings from lawn care service poviders. The size of our residential Back, Front and Side yards provide for a buy 2 years get the 3rd year free. Have 4 sealable containers in the shed for this.
Just applied Step-2 this morning onto the dew.
Yard went from a terrace formed area, to a dormant "lawnDr" seeding in late Sept, their follow up care the following spring.
After that, all Scotts.
