- Apply this pre-emergent weed killer in the early spring to a dry lawn or in the fall; rain, snow, or freezing weather after application will not affect the performance of this product
- This lawn care product is for use on all grass types (with the exception of Dichondra or Bentgrass)

DESCRIPTION
ScottsĀ® HaltsĀ® Crabgrass & Grassy Weed Preventer prevents the germination of listed lawn weeds so you can enjoy your lawn. In early spring, apply when lawn is dry to prevent the germination of crabgrass, foxtail, spurge, barnyardgrass, fall panicum, goosegrass* and oxalis all season long (*for goosegrass control, repeat application in 8 weeks). Apply in the fall (August-October) to prevent moss (except in California), or to prevent the germination of Poa annua, henbit, corn speedwell, and chickweed. ScottsĀ® HaltsĀ® Crabgrass & Grassy Weed Preventer is for use on all lawns and grass types (with the exception of Dichondra or Bentgrass lawns). Rain, snow, or freezing weather after application will not affect the performance of this product. Please note, this product controls crabgrass in its early stages of growth. It does not control mature crabgrass and other existing weeds. One 20.12 lb. bag of ScottsĀ® HaltsĀ® Crabgrass & Grassy Weed Preventer covers 10,000 sq. ft.

I hope it halts my weed problem
Did a fall application to get ahead of the weed problem in spring. Easy application and instructions. I will apply again in spring and hopefully it will cure my weed problems.

Works well - I would recommend.
My daughter recently purchased a new home and the lawn was in rough shape. I used the Crabgrass and Weed Preventer on her lawn and the new growth in the spring looked awesome with no crabgrass and a lot fewer weeds. We applied as directed - very pleased.

Scotts Crabgrass & Grassy Weed Is Performing Good
My grass has little to no weeds which is great. As summer and the heat sets in I will be able to determine the effectiveness of this product. I am pleased with the thickness and green color I see in my grass. Hopefully this will continue to as we head into the dog days of summer.

This crabgrass seeds works great on your lawn and leaves it looking great. It helps you fill in them empty spots where you are needing your grass to grow. It starts growing in just a few days after you apply it to your lawn.

Crabgrass Gone
I used the Scotts Halts Crabgrass& Grassy Weed Preventer on my lawn. I was happy with the way it preformed. It was very easy to apply with a spreader. It did a good job of getting rid of problem crabgrass. I am very happy with Scotts products.

So far so good.
I have had a large problem with crabgrass the last few years since the road was repaired and they put hay out on the side of the road. This season I put out the preventer and have not had any show so far. Very happy with the lack of crabgrass.
