Where to Use: Safe to use on all grass types when using the Turf Builder rate.

Where Not to Use: Do not use the Max Greening rate on Centipede and Zoysia. Avoid Max Greening rate when temperatures exceed 80°F. Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches.

When to Apply: Apply to actively growing grass when daytime temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. If temperatures are over 80°F, use the Turf Builder rate. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected.

How Often to Apply: Feed 4 times a year for the best results. Do not exceed two applications per year is using the Max Greening rate.

1. Set Your Spreader: First, set your Scotts spreader to either the Turf Builder rate for a lush lawn or the Max Greening rate for maximum feeding strength (application restrictions apply; see label for details).
2. Check the Lawn: Make sure you're applying the lawn food to dry grass.
3. Apply Like A Pro: Feeding your lawn is easy. Start by applying around the perimeter of your yard, then fill in the middle by walking at a steady pace and slightly overlapping each pass.
4. Water It In: After you've finished applying the lawn food, water the lawn to activate the nutrients and see results in as little as 3 days.
5. Clean Up: Sweep any stray product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street right back onto your lawn.
