DESCRIPTION
ScottsĀ® EZ SeedĀ® Patch & Repair Bermudagrass is a revolutionary seeding product designed to grow in tough conditions! The unique combination of ScottsĀ® high performance seed, premium continuous release lawn food, and super-absorbent growing material, make it possible for grass to grow in tough conditions, guaranteed!* Plus, ScottsĀ® EZ SeedĀ® now has a tackifier to reduce seed wash-away on sloped areas of your lawn. *Subject to proper care.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
1. PREP - Simply prepare the area you want to grow grass. Remove dead grass and loosen hard soil to help tiny seedlings root.
2. APPLY - Evenly apply EZ SeedĀ® so the area is mostly covered, but bare ground is still visible so that seed contacts the soil. The mulch will expand 4X upon watering to help cover the seed and keep it moist (Use half as much for thin areas). Only apply the recommended amount so that seedlings have enough space to access water and nutrients.
3. WATER - A deep and thorough initial watering is the key to success. Gently water the area until EZ SeedĀ® is completely saturated and no more water is being absorbed (may take several minutes). Avoid pooling water. When EZ SeedĀ® begins to turn light brown, it's time to water again. Continue to water daily as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.

When to Apply
- Spring and early summer are the best times to plant EZ SeedĀ® because the seed germinates best when daytime temperatures are between 70 degrees F and 90 degrees F and all danger of frost has passed.

It worked for me - 60 year old MiMi
I bought this and applied just as instructions state; spent 7 days straight getting yard in order from weeding; reveal of weeds and clearing dead spots. My yard is one of the most appealing on my street and I did it all myself

Good product, if done correctly.
People need to realize that grass also needs good soil, ph, nutrients, etc to grow. You can’t just throw it in some dirt and expect full grass.
I recommend getting your soil tested to see what nutrients are missing and get a fertilizer to supplement them.
If you want a good lawn, you’re gonna have to get your hands dirty and more maintenance.

Amazing!
This stuff is amazing!! I used to panic over our grass area when the dogs made these ugly bare spots but this stuff works so well I don’t stress anymore!

Amazing product- already growing
We put out thick chunks throughout the yard about a month ago and already have grass growing!! My yard was supposed to be seeded throughout part of my backyard at the end of last year. I moved into a new build in January, and I still don't have bermudagrass. However, the EZ Scott is coming up thick and green just after one month!! I also use it between my plots of bermuda sod, and it's filling in already. Costco has the best prices on it though, but far!

Definitely WILL GROW with plenty of water!
Omg. I spread this stuff over some bald spots i had, I chose Bermuda hoping it wouldn't grow so fast. Anyway I went out of town for 2 weeks, (we had a ton of rain while I was gone) came back home and those bald spots had grown knee high! Couldn't believe it! Shocked but in a good way!

Very Pleased with this product!
Was super late reviving my lawn. Due to the bald spots, had to lay Scotts EZ Seed Patch and Repair down 6/24/2021. One month later the results are undeniable. I'm extremely pleased with this product and will continue to use it as needed.
