When to Use: The sweet spot for applying is in the spring or fall, when daytime temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 80°F.

How Often to Use: Use as needed to patch any bare or thin spots that pop up.

1. Get the Spot Ready: First, clear out any dead grass and rough up the soil a bit with a rake. This helps the new seeds get a good start.
2. Apply by Hand: Now, just shake the EZ Seed evenly over the bare spot. You'll want it mostly covered, but with a little ground still visible. That's the sweet spot.
3. Water It In: Give the patch a deep, gentle soak until the mulch is completely saturated. Don't skip this step—it's the most important one!

That first deep watering is super important. After that, the mulch does the work for you. When it's dark brown, you're all good. Once it starts to turn light brown, you know it's thirsty and time for another light sprinkle. It really takes the guesswork out of watering.

• Let the New Grass Grow: We know it's tempting, but keep foot traffic (and the mower!) off the new patches until the grass is at least 3 inches tall. This helps it grow in strong.
• Plant at the Right Time: You'll have the best luck planting in the spring or fall when the weather's just right—think daytime temps between 60°F and 80°F.

• Kids & Pets: Let the new grass grow to at least 3 inches before letting the family and pets play on it.
