Description
Moles have finally met their match. The Tomcat® Mole Trap is a heavy-duty, dual-spring trap that is safer and easier to use as well as more effective and durable than traditional traps. The unique, curved jaw design of our mole remover trap effectively captures and quickly kills moles without the need to draw blood. That's right, our BioSafe Design avoids spears so you can avoid a messy, unpleasant disposal process. The reusable Tomcat® Mole Trap is specially designed as hands-free and fast and easy to place and set. Simply identify active mole tunnels in your lawn, place the trap jaws in the tunnel, then step on the trap's yellow foot pedal to set the trigger below the surface. You will know a mole has been caught when the yellow foot pedal is raised. To dispose, compress the pedal against a garbage can and the mole will be released. This package of Tomcat® Mole Trap contains 1 mole trap.
Step by Step Instructions
How to Use
- Identify surface runways: brown, grassless streaks on a lawn, created when moles tunnel below.
- Carefully poke a hole in the top of the surface runway with your index finger. Be sure not to collapse the pile or cover up the hole. Mark the hole with a small stick. Repeat with several runway locations.
- Wait 24-48 hours and then check holes to see if they have been sealed. If they have, they are active and are good locations for traps.
- Use heel to create an indentation for trigger in middle of active tunnel. The built in depth gauge should fit in indentation to confirm correct depth. Use trap jaws to mark tunnel on each side of the indentation made for trigger. Use lawn edger or square spade to cut and widen 5" deep slots across tunnel for easy insertion of trap.
- Insert trap jaws into slots cut across the tunnel. Step straight down on high end of yellow foot pedal. Be careful not to cover the slot in foot pedal. Work foot pedal down until trap latches and trigger post comes through trigger slot. Use your foot or finger to press trigger post flush with top of foot pedal. The trap is now set.
- To remove mole from trap, set trap on bucket and release mole by compressing pedal with hands.

- If mole is not caught within 24 - 48 hours, move trap.

These are Amazing!

Works like a charm!!
I put 2 mole traps out last night. Felt a little disappointed not seeing them tripped this morning but, went to lunch and came back to one of them tripped. Pulled it out of the ground and there was a big mole in it!!! These moles have been a thorn in my side, and destroying my yard. Thank you so much!!!

Best trap for moles ever!
I have spent years buying poison to kill the things moles eat and bought castor oil products to repel moles which neither solved the mole problem. My wife bought 2 of these mole traps and in the last month I have caught and killed 4 moles in my yard. I loaned one to my neighbor and he has caught 2 moles in the last 2 weeks.Unbelievable product!

Thee VERY BEST mole trap on the market
I live on a small muck farm, next to a wet land reserve. Needless to say I get a lot of critters passing thru. Being my land is soft black dirt n loaded with worms n grubs, I had many moles when I moved in. I have 2 1/2 acres of yard, the moles where leaving it a mess n hard to mow. I tried everything from plunge tras, to snap traps, to poison pellets to poison worms to mole deterrent chemicals, to vibrating moles stakes. I would get a few, but never got them all. UNTIL I bought the TomCat mole trap, the first year, I got 15 moles, next year I got 3, now I get one or 2 that make the mistake of wondering into my yard. This mole trap is VERY efficient, effective and very easy to set. If you don't want to touch the dead mole, you can just reset the trap in place and you'll leave the dead mole right where you got it, underground, leaving a message for the next mole. I hope this review helps you with your mole problems, it did mine. I'll never get rid of the moles due to my location next to a wet land, but I can control the moles that dare enter my lawn.

Two out of three I purchased broke
I ordered three of these traps and I will say they are the best traps I have used for moles BUT I have 2 of the 3 that broke in the same place. Is there a way I can get replacements parts ? I do love these traps but I cannot keep buying them if they break in the same place on 2 of 3 traps.
