The Tomcat Rat Snap Trap is an advanced rat trap design, combining aggressive capture and holding capability with user-friendly features that make it ideal for home and farm use. Place food, such as peanut butter, or Tomcat Attractant Gel (sold separately) into the removable bait cup and re-insert it into the trap. Carefully set the trap by compressing the top portion to the bottom until it clicks into position, by hand or foot, then position it perpendicular to a wall where rats are known to travel. High-impact plastic and rust-resistant metals allow the trap to be re-used again and again, and patented, interlocking teeth make escapes virtually impossible.

Where to Use: Position the trap perpendicular to a wall or other structure where rats are known to travel.

Where Not to Use: Do not use in areas that are accessible to children and pets. Since rodent traps rely on food-based bait, avoid placing it directly next to pet food, garbage, or other competing food sources, which can reduce its effectiveness.

When to Use: The moment you see signs of a rat, it’s time to set traps. Don’t wait for your rodent problem to get bigger.

How Often to Use: Check the trap regularly and reset with fresh bait as needed. Because the trap is reusable, it can be reset and placed again after each catch rather than replaced.

1. BAIT: Place food (such as peanut butter) or Tomcat Attractant Gel into the removable bait cup and re-insert it into the trap.
2. SET: Carefully set the trap by compressing the top portion, containing the ridges, to the bottom until it clicks into position. This can be done by hand or foot.
3. PLACE: Position the trap perpendicular to a wall or other structure where rats are known to travel.
