The Tomcat Tunnel Trapping System is a complete trapping solution that eliminates unwanted rats and mice around your home. It includes 2 heavy-duty, reusable snap traps and a protective tunnel with a key cap and key insert for keyless operation. The high-quality polypropylene tunnel protects the traps and can be locked to guard against tampering by children and pets, while the field-tested snap traps use high-impact plastic and rust-resistant metals to be re-used again and again. Unlock the tunnel, bait the traps with peanut butter and/or bird seed, and secure them with openings facing the entry holes. Place along walls or landscaping where rodents are active, and check daily.

Where to Use: Use indoors and outdoors, horizontally or vertically. Place the station along walls, landscaping, or other areas where rodents are active, such as yards, garages, barns, or landscaping.

Where Not to Use: Since rodent traps rely on food-based bait, avoid placing it directly next to pet food, garbage, or other competing food sources, which can reduce its effectiveness.

When to Use: The moment you see signs of a rat, it’s time to set traps. Don’t wait for your rodent problem to get bigger.

How Often to Use: Check the station daily, and reset or re-bait the traps inside as needed.

1. UNLOCK: Unlock the station by inserting the included key (or, for keyless operation, using the key cap and key insert).
2. REMOVE & BAIT: Remove the traps by pushing out the tabs on each side of the trap. Bait the traps by removing the bait cup at the bottom of the trap; recommended bait is peanut butter and/or bird seed.
3. SECURE: Keep the traps closed and push them into their secured position inside the tunnel, with trap openings facing the entry holes. Once secured, set the traps as usual, then close the lid until it locks.
4. PLACE & CHECK: Place the station along walls, landscaping, or other areas where rodents are active. Check the station daily.

• Because the tunnel locks and the snap traps inside are reusable, you don't need to replace the whole system after every catch; just reopen with the key (or keyless key cap/insert), dispose of the dead rodent(s), reset the traps, and re-secure the tunnel.
• Cable ties (sold separately) can be used to attach the tunnel in a variety of horizontal or vertical locations.

• Snap traps require considerable force to be effective. Keep out of reach of children, pets, and other non-target animals.
• The tunnel's lockable design helps guard against tampering by children and pets, keeping the traps inside secured between checks.
