Tomcat Bait Chunx with Bromethalin are formulated for professional and agricultural pest control, using bromethalin to control rats, mice, and meadow voles—including Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice that have developed resistance to anticoagulant baits. Norway rats and house mice usually consume a lethal dose in a single feeding, though it may take two or more days after consumption for these rodents to die. This product must be used in and within 100 feet of man-made structures, and tamper-resistant bait stations are mandatory for all above-ground placements. Each pail contains 4 lbs. of bait blocks, sized for professional and agricultural-scale use, and each bait block kills up to 12 mice (based on no-choice lab testing).

Where to Use: This product may only be used to control rodents in and around man-made structures, including food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, agricultural and public buildings, docks and port or terminal buildings, transport vehicles, and homes and other residences, and must be used in and within 100 feet of the structure. Refillable bait stations are mandatory for every above-ground placement, and must be tamper-resistant wherever children, pets, non-target mammals, or birds may have access.

Where Not to Use: Do not use more than 100 feet from a man-made structure; fence and perimeter baiting beyond that range is prohibited. Do not apply directly to food or feed crops. Burrow baiting with this product is prohibited. Do not place bait near or inside ventilation duct openings, or where it may contaminate water, food, feedstuffs, or food/feed handling equipment or surfaces. Never place bait outdoors and above-ground without a tamper-resistant bait station.

When to Use: Product should be used at the first signs of rodent activity.

How Often to Use: Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days, or until there are no longer fresh signs of rat activity. Highest bait consumption is expected in the first day or two after treatment begins; inspect and replenish bait at sites showing heavy feeding or continued rodent activity.

1. USE A TAMPER-RESISTANT BAIT STATION: Every outdoor, above-ground placement of this product must be made in a tamper-resistant bait station.
2. SELECT TREATMENT AREAS: Determine areas where rats, mice, or meadow voles will most likely find and consume the bait—generally along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, or wherever signs of rodents have been seen.
3. PLACE FOR RATS: Place 1 to 6 blocks per placement (usually at 15- to 30-foot intervals) in infested areas, adjusting the amount to the level of rat feeding expected at each placement.
4. PLACE FOR MICE AND MEADOW VOLES: Use 1 bait block per placement, spaced at 8- to 12-foot intervals; larger placements of up to 2 blocks may be needed at points of extremely high activity.
5. FOLLOW UP: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Wearing waterproof gloves, collect and dispose of all dead, exposed animals and leftover bait. Continue baiting until all signs of feeding have ceased.

• Protect bait from rain and snow.
• Remove as much alternative food as possible from the treatment area.
• For use in sewers, thread wire through the block and securely attach it to a stationary structure, using at least 8 blocks per manhole.
• Always use a tamper-resistant bait station when making any outdoor, above-ground placement.

• Keep away from children, domestic animals, and pets.
• Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing.
• All handlers, including applicators, must wear a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, shoes plus socks, and gloves.
• Anyone who retrieves carcasses or unused bait following application must wear waterproof gloves.
• Dogs and other predatory or scavenging animals may be poisoned if they feed on animals that have eaten this bait.
