The Tomcat Rat Control & Repel Bundle takes on rats from two directions and helps keep them out. Bait the Tomcat Secure-Kill Rat Trap with Tomcat Attractant Gel (sold separately) or food like peanut butter, then set it indoors facing a wall where you’ve seen rat activity and can easily check it. Place the pre-filled Tomcat Rat & Mouse Killer disposable bait station away from the trap, ideally in another area of your home (at least 15-20 feet away from your traps) or outdoors along the foundation of your home. Then spray entry points with Tomcat Repellents Rodent Repellent Continuous Spray. One 14 oz. can covers approximately 275 sq. ft. and should be reapplied every 30 days.

Where to Use:

• Secure-Kill Rat Trap: Indoors only, facing a wall where you’ve seen rat activity. Target areas with high rat activity where smudge marks or droppings are discovered. Choose a spot you can easily check, so you’ll know quickly when the trap has been sprung.
• Rat & Mouse Killer Bait Station: In and around buildings, indoors and outdoors within 50 feet from a home or building including areas accessible to children and pets. Place it where rats will most likely find and eat the bait: beside burrows, along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners, and in concealed places. The station can be placed horizontally or vertically, in locations like behind appliances, in corners, garages, basements, attics, and home exteriors. Place the bait station at least 15-20 feet away from your rat trap.
• Rodent Repellent Continuous Spray: Indoors and outdoors, on potential entry points around your home, including around doors and windows, pipes, cracks and crevices, and vents, and in areas where you want to prevent rodent activity.

• Before use, test a small area of sensitive surfaces for staining before making a wide-scale application

How Often to Use

• Secure-Kill Rat Trap: Single use only. Once a rat is caught, immediately dispose of the entire trap.
• Rat & Mouse Killer Bait Station: Maintain a constant supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until there are no longer fresh signs of rat or house mouse activity. View the bait through the see-through lid, and replace the station if the bait has been consumed or contaminated and rats or house mice are still using it.
• Rodent Repellent Continuous Spray: Repeat application every 30 days. More frequent application may be required after periods of heavy rainfall and if more rodent activity is noticed.

1. Bait the trap: Place Tomcat Attractant Gel (sold separately) or food such as peanut butter in the Secure-Kill trap’s bait well.
2. Set the trap: Place the trap indoors, facing a wall where you’ve seen rat activity, in a spot you can easily check. Press the set-arm with your foot or hand; you’ll hear a “click” when it’s set. Never attempt to move the trap once set.
3. Place the station: Put the pre-filled bait station at least 15-20 feet away from the trap, at the point of highest activity such as beside burrows, along a wall, or in a corner where signs of rats have been seen, indoors or outdoors within 50 feet of your home. There’s no need to touch the bait. Keep it away from food and food-contact surfaces.
4. Defend entry points: Shake the Tomcat Repellents spray well and spray potential entry points like doors and windows, pipes, cracks and crevices, and vents. Wipe away any excess product. (Do not use repellents near your trap or bait station).
5. Monitor: Check the bait through the station’s see-through lid. Keep fresh bait available for 10 days or until fresh signs of activity stop, and replace the station if the bait is consumed or contaminated and rats are still active.
6. Dispose: Use the trap’s grab tab to dispose of the entire trap, with no need to touch the rat. Wearing gloves, collect and properly dispose of emptied bait stations and any carcasses, then wash your hands.
7. Maintain: Reapply the repellent every 30 days, or more often after heavy rain or if activity increases. If rats return, repeat treatment.

• Bait station: The station can be used horizontally or vertically, and the see-thru lid lets you check the bait without opening it.
• Rodent Repellent: The spray works at any angle, making it easier to reach entry points around pipes and vents.
• Rat prevention: To discourage reinfestation, eliminate food, water, and harborage as much as possible. Store extra food in sealed containers, especially pet or bird food kept in basements or garages. Keep garbage can lids tightly closed. Cover openings into your home, especially in attics, basements, and garages, since rats can get into very small places. Trim tree branches away from your home.
• Trap and station placement: Place the trap and bait station at least 15-20 feet apart or in different areas of your home. Put the trap where you can easily check it for a catch, and use the bait station for spots you don’t want to check every day, like attics, garages, behind appliances, or outside your home.
• Repellent use: Apply repellents where rats get in, not where the trap and station are, so the repellent doesn’t steer rats away from them.
