Fresh Herb Chop Rub
The homemade rub is made with a blend of herbs and spices that really perks up pork chops!
INGREDIENTS
4 pork chops
Thyme oil (see thyme section)
Salt and pepper
2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh basil leaves
2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
PREPARATION
Preheat the broiler or grill.
Trim fat from the chops. Lightly coat each side with thyme oil, then season with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, combine the oregano, basil and chives, then spread on cutting board. Press chops into herbs to coat each side.
