About Terrence & His Approach
What does plant care look like in your everyday life?
- Plant care is a part of my reset. It's simply checking the leaves, wiping them down, watering, rotating for light, and just being present in the space. It’s one of the few things in my routine that feels slow in a good way.
How would you describe your plant-care style?
- Simple, intentional, and low-maintenance. I like systems that are easy to stay consistent with. I don’t overcomplicate it. I focus on what keeps my plants healthy and my space feeling fresh.
What draws you to calm, intentional home environments?
- My life is fast. I’m always building, creating, and moving. So my home needs to be the opposite. It’s a place that slows me down, grounds me, and helps me reset. When my space feels calm, my mind feels clear.
Gardening as Wellness
How does tending to your plants support your sense of well-being?
- It reminds me to slow down and take care of something outside of myself. There’s something really grounding about seeing growth happen because of consistency. It’s a quiet reminder that small actions add up.
What small rituals help you reset or feel grounded?
- Making my bed, watering my plants, wiping leaves, making coffee. Small wins that shift the energy of the space.
What plant-care moment brings you the most calm?
- Seeing new growth like a fresh leaf or a fuller branch.it’s subtle, but it feels like progress you can actually see.
Home & Styling
How do you think about styling plants in your home?
- I use them like living decor. They soften the space, add depth, and bring life into the room. I place them where they naturally get light and where I’ll see them every day.
What elements make a space feel warm and lived-in?
- Natural light, greenery, neutral tones, subtle textures, and things that feel intentional.
What inspires your aesthetic when building plant-filled spaces?
- Minimal design, natural materials, and spaces that feel calm but still lived in. I want my home to feel like a place you can unwind.
Partnership & Product
What made this Miracle-Gro partnership feel like a natural fit?
- I’ve been using Miracle-Gro for years. It’s a brand I already trusted, so the partnership felt authentic. It aligns with how I care for my space.
How does Miracle-Gro Indoor Plant Food fit into your routine?
- It’s part of my regular plant reset. It keeps my plants healthy, vibrant, and growing without adding extra steps. It just works.
What are you excited to share with people this spring?
- That plant care doesn’t have to be complicated. You can build a routine that feels calming, not stressful and your space will feel better because of it.
Seasonal Connection
What does spring symbolize for you personally?
- A fresh start. New energy. Growth. It’s a reminder that everything can reset.
How do you refresh your home or routines during the season?
- I declutter, bring in more light, refresh my plants, and simplify my routines so they feel lighter and easier to maintain.
Is there a plant you’re especially enjoying right now?
- It’s a tie between my monstera and birds of paradise. Watching them grow and fill the space has been rewarding.
