Description
Caring for houseplants is easy and fun with the right foundation. That's why we created Miracle-Gro Houseplant Potting Mix. It contains the elements and nutrients indoor plants need to thrive, and it feeds for up to 6 months after potting. And because we know that bugs aren't welcome in your home, the soil is less prone to gnats, thanks to the right combination of ingredients: perlite, sphagnum peat moss, fertilizer, a wetting agent and coir. This nutrient-rich potting mix is also certified under the Mulch & Soil Council, whose mission is to define quality products that uphold industry guidelines. Plus, it’s recommended for growing Pothos, Montsera Plants, Spider Plants, and more popular indoor plant varieties. A single 4-qt. bag fills an 8-inch container. For even more spectacular results and to further support your success in growing happy houseplants, consider starting regular feedings with Miracle-Gro Plant Food 30 days after potting your plants.

Good
This Miracle Gro Houseplant soil really made my plant happy. It is packed with nutrients and my plant perked right up after I used it. I also noticed that I did not have a gnat problem anymore after transferring to this soil.

Great indoor potting mix
Made my winter indoor plants flourish this year. This is a very light and nutritious potting soil and retains water well. I did an experiment of this soil vs a competitor and this one made my plants look more lively and had to water them less.

Noticeable improvement
I’ve had 2 houseplants for years that only get water. They do ‘okay’, but nothing special. I’ve added this to both plants and have noticed better color and stronger leaves. I actually repotted one of them for the first time and it is doing fantastic.

Amazing changes!
I’ve never been super keen on specific houseplant souls but honestly this was a GAME CHANGER! I had been struggling with one of my indoor aloe plants for a while and decided it was time to repot and resoil using this houseplant soil. My plant is amazingly now bigger and healthier than ever! It’s gotten HUGE with no care changes other than switching out the soil! I can’t say enough about this soil!

Good soil
I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and it does seem to be great soil. The medium mix has a lot of good, organic stuff in it that I prefer for most of my plants, but I don't love the added "wetting agent". I like to water, and this potting mix does hold water for quite some time. It makes it a good choice for calatheas, peace lilies etc. I added a bit of extra perlite for good measure, and I have a variegated peace lily growing happily in it so far. I haven't had fungus gnats flocking to this soil yet which is great, too. Overall, I'm liking all that this potting mix has to offer.

Back to Life
I finally was able to repot a plant that had not been doing well. The Scott’s soil brought this house plant back to life and it is now thriving. I’m very pleased and will definitely buy more for my other houseplants.
