Unlike some of our other Weed & Feed products, this one needs to be watered in right after you apply it. Give your lawn a good watering to wash the granules from the grass blades and get them down to the soil.

  • Mow First: For best results, mow your lawn a day or two before you apply.
  • Don't Overdo It: If you've recently used another weed control product on your lawn, wait at least one month before applying Bonus S.
  • Let it Dry: It's best to have the lawn to yourself during application. People and pets can re-enter the area after the granules have been watered in and the grass has dried.
  • Dress for the Job: We recommend wearing a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes, and socks when applying.
  • Wash Up: After you're done, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
