Where to Use: Place traps perpendicular to walls or other objects in areas with evidence of mouse activity. For best results, place a trap between a mouse's resting place and its food source.

Where Not to Use: Mechanical traps are not ideal for areas with heavy moisture or direct outdoor weather exposure, which can affect a mechanical trap's spring action and any bait used; avoid areas where children or pets can easily access the trap.

When to Apply: The moment you see a mouse or signs of one, it’s time to set a trap. Don’t wait for the problem to get bigger.

How Often to Apply: Check the trap at least once a day and dispose of any catch promptly. Regular checks help avoid odor and keep the trap ready for its next use. If you haven’t caught a mouse in a few days, try moving the trap to a new location.

1. SET: Squeeze the back of the trap as shown to arm it for use.
2. BAIT (OPTIONAL): For best results, use a pencil eraser-sized amount of Tomcat Attractant Gel or peanut butter on the back of the yellow trigger.
3. PLACE: Position the trap perpendicular to walls or other objects in areas with signs of mouse activity, ideally between a mouse's resting place and food source.
4. DISPOSE: Squeeze the back of the trap to release the mouse. Your hands never touch it, and the trap resets, ready to use again.

• Placement is Key: Place traps every 5-10 feet along walls where mice travel.
• Use Multiple Traps: A single mouse is rarely the only one. Using several traps will increase your success.
• Limit Other Food: Seal food in containers and clean up any spills to make the bait in your trap the main attraction.
• Reusable Trap: Because each trap resets after you dispose of the mouse, you don't need a new trap for every catch. Just reset it and place it again for continued, convenient protection.
• Use Gloves: Wearing gloves while handling and placing the trap can help avoid leaving a human scent that may make mice more cautious.
