It’s been over two months since our team of associates, family members and alumni pedaled through central Ohio for Pelotonia’s Ride Weekend. And we are happy to report that we made an impact: We raised over $154,000!
Since joining the ride in 2010, our team has raised more than $2.8 million. The funds we’ve raised have gone directly to fund cancer research at The Ohio State University – Comprehensive Cancer Center, known as The James.
This year’s team included 47 riders, 2 challengers and 6 volunteers. Three of our members are cancer survivors, and two riders also volunteered.
More than a bike ride
The ride is personal for most of us. We ride alongside others who share our common goal of finding a cure for cancer. And we even ride alongside cancer survivors.
The ride is challenging for many of us. We’re not athletes or professional cyclists. We are a group that believes we can do this together.
