Lakshmy is a lawns biologist in our R&D department, and her interest in turfgrass science began when she was growing up halfway around the world. Lawns are not a typical part of homes in India, but flower and vegetable gardens are. The first time that Lakshmy saw a golf course during a field trip in college she instantly fell in love with the greenery.
Now Lakshmy and the R&D team are working hard on developing innovations that work in concert with the changing climate and environment.
Watch Lakshmy’s video to learn how she became interested in lawn science and what she believes the lawn of the future looks like.
