Pendimethalin

Definition

Pendimethalin is an herbicide that’s been used to prevent annual grasses and broadleaf weeds since it was patented in 1972.

Farmers use pendimethalin to protect crops like wheat, corn and soybeans, but it’s also very effective for homeowner use.

Pendimethalin stops weeds by interfering with cell division in the roots of very young weeds that just emerged from seeds or shortly thereafter as tiny seedlings.
