Scott was named senior vice president of Global Supply Chain in October 2015. He is responsible for the execution and leadership of the global supply chain operations.
Previously he held the position of Senior Vice President of strategic planning and M&A in December 2014 and Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Information Officer beginning in February of 2011.
Scott began his career with ScottsMiracle-Gro in 1997 and worked in numerous leadership roles in Supply Chain including operations, production and logistics. Prior to joining the Company, Scott was plant and operations manager at Interstate Brands Corporation/Continental Baking Company (now Hostess Brands), and held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, quality control, and production with Frito-Lay and E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Scotts spends his free time with his wife and three children, and is especially busy coaching his son’s baseball team and traveling for his daughter’s sports competitions.
